The reply was prompt, and the passion and high standards were obvious from the reply. They pointed me in A Scents of Scotland direction, where I got excellent customer service and very reasonable prices.
Specifically speaking about McKelvie Candles, the smell is long lasting and strong without being overpowering. They are far from being the cheap synthetic stuff you come across at most gift shops.
The fact that they are perfumers by trade is evident in the quality of the product, and I refuse to buy any other candle. I find them better than the Jo Malone ones in terms of power and longevity, and the scents have a heart and history, so you’re buying more than a candle, or a melt, or a spray: you’re buying history, tradition and loving memories.
